Web design in Carmarthen
I design and build websites in Carmarthen, Wales, for businesses, creators and communities. We work together entirely online, from the first rough idea to the finished site.

Blaeneinion
Blaeneinion has 4 connected websites, giving guests, course visitors and volunteers their own route through a conservation valley. Links between the sites let visitors follow their interest without starting over.
Interactive demo
A conservation valley with separate journeys for guests, course visitors and volunteers, all connected by one identity.

Cahokia
A book-launch site with a cinematic opening and a prologue you can read or hear.

A book-launch website where visitors can read or hear the prologue before following a retailer link.
What visitors need to do comes first
A launch page has to explain one offer and lead to one clear action. A larger site might need separate routes for customers, guests or members. We agree on those before we decide how many pages to build, so the structure follows the work the site has to do.
One person, start to finish
I handle the identity, page design and build myself, so nothing gets lost between a designer and a developer. The agreed build covers the phone experience, readable content and search foundations. Booking, selling, accounts or editing tools are scoped around what you actually need rather than bundled into a standard package.
Carmarthen-based, working online
Pine Lodge Studio is in Carmarthen. I work remotely with clients in Wales, across the UK and further afield. The project can start over email. You don't need to travel, arrange a meeting or have a finished specification before getting in touch.
Scope and starting prices
Launch Page
£600 to £1,200
One page for a launch, campaign or enquiry, with one clear action. Copy and design are worked out together.
Brand Site
£2,800 to £4,500
A full identity and up to six pages. Logo, colour palette and type choices run through the whole site, and accessibility and search are built in from the start.
Brand System
£6,500 to £9,000
One identity across linked sites or a larger interactive build, with print artwork and booking or sales routes where needed.
The final scope and price are agreed before work starts. Extra requirements are scoped before they are added.
Before you enquire
How much does a website cost?
A Launch Page is £600 to £1,200. A Brand Site of up to six pages is £2,800 to £4,500. A Brand System starts with a £6,500 to £9,000 scope. These are starting points. The agreed requirements determine the fixed project price.
Can you work with my existing brand?
Yes. If you send me the logo, colours, current site and any brand rules you have, I can work from those. A website project doesn't have to be an automatic rebrand.
Will my site be ready for search engines?
The build includes crawlable content, page titles and descriptions, internal links and a sitemap. How well the site shows up in search also depends on the content itself, the competition and links from other sites. A new website is not a guarantee of any particular Google position.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. Mention it in the brief so we can agree on the editing system and what you'll change. Otherwise, the optional Care Plan at £600 a year covers updates, small content changes and a quarterly check.
What do you need from me to get started?
The basics: what the site is for, who it's for, what should happen on it, and any timing or budget you have in mind. Existing copy and photographs are useful if you have them, but a rough idea is plenty for a first enquiry.
