Mick Flaherty
Client work · Live
A bespoke portfolio for Liverpool painter and musician Mick Flaherty, with a salon-style gallery and its own page for every piece.

- The problem
- Mick wanted his paintings seen, and in front of people who could show them.
- What I did
- I built a portfolio coloured from his own paintings, with a page for every piece, and ran a targeted cold-email campaign alongside it.
- The result
- The campaign produced 38 hot leads. In Mick’s words, the site put his paintings in front of important galleries.
38 hot leads from cold email
Alongside Mick’s portfolio site, I ran a targeted cold-email campaign through Explee to introduce his work. That campaign produced 38 hot leads.
Every painting gets its own page
Each piece lives at its own URL, so a visitor can share a direct link to a particular painting instead of trying to describe where it sits in a gallery. The portfolio pairs that catalogue structure with a clear route to contact Mick.
Colours drawn from the paintings
The site takes its colour palette directly from Mick's own paintings, so the pages sit alongside the work rather than competing with it.
A gallery that works without JavaScript
A salon-style gallery with a lightbox and a dedicated page for each piece holds the full catalogue. Fonts and images are all self-hosted.
